Southern California can truly be credited with the rise of the Custom Power Boat phenomenon. It was the birth place of so many legendary brands. As this year’s show opens under the moniker of the 62nd annual Los Angeles Boat Show, in our eyes the new location, newer owner, and an entirely different feel, make us optimistic that it will be a strong new run for the West Coast boating industry.

Located at the home of NHRA drag racing at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, California, the new location is awesome by comparison and offers large growth opportunity with a new convient location close to most areas of Southern California.

For the performance hungry crowd, DCB Performance Boats has brought something special. DCB’s boat display glistens with incredible works of perfection. With their most popular models on display, it’s clear the the brand’s crossover between both outboards and inboard rigged platforms is proven perfection. Their largest offering is a stunning Widebody M44 catamaran sporting 3100 total horsepower. An M28 sporting twin 400R outboard engines and an M31 Widebody with naturally aspirated 860s also grace the display. This is basically a non-turbocharged engine platform that delivers the throaty performance sound the powerboaters love. And lastly they’re showing off an M35 Widebody stuffed full of 2700HP worth of turbocharged horsepower.

While at the booth, we noticed the “Secret Sauce” or the magic behind this brand. Sure the boats are incredible and rigged like artwork or jewelry. Every bolt head polished and aligned, wiring and plumbing hidden, ergonomic interiors of amazing comfort. But that’s just one part of why people buy a DCB. We are going let you in on something many don’t know. DCB may lead everyone in the realm of return clientsbecause their customers “BUY AGAIN !” DCB’s cult like following stems from not only a boat delivery process, but an after the sale customer service level second to none. I witnessed a customer seeing their new M35 Widebody for the first time in its finished form. It was their 4th DCB! And folks this is not an uncommon scenario, the level of customer service AFTER the purchase is what drives them to stay part of the DCB extended family .
