Only a few weeks ago Performance Boat Center closed the deal purchasing Doller Offshore Marine, establishing a presence here in South Florida and now they have added over 14,000 square feet of storage space to accommodate clients boats who come from all over the country.
Speaking to Performance Boat Center owners Brett Manire and Mark Waddington on location at their new storage and concierge site located in Fort Lauderdale just off Marina Mile and very close to the Fort Lauderdale International Airport, we learned first hand how they are viewing their approach to the expansion into south Florida.
“We have so many customers from the lake (Lake of the Ozarks) who send their boats down during the winter months and for poker runs, it only made sense to open here and provide them the same level of quality service we have at the lake.” said Brett Manire.
They have already outgrown the former Doller location and needed to move storage boats to this separate location which allows the service and sales center the room needed. They recently hired David DeLezenne full time to coordinate the transport and storage of all the boats.
