As the domination of outboard powered boats develop, builders and enthusiasts alike acknowledge the fact that weight has a significant role in how these boats perform. Case in point Dale Rayzor’s new Skater. We’ve been paying very close attention to his efforts to reduce not only overall weight but where the weight is located in these boats. Dale had Hardin Marine set out to build a new TITANIUM tie bars for his revamped Skater. The results are phenomenal with a weight reduction of nearly 56% and a strength improvement over stainless steel it makes this one of the ultimate new performance choices.  While it can be said that Titanium is considerably more money than stainless steel,  for those who are seeking the very best it looks like Hardin Marine has their finger on the pulse of new innovations.
