On a mission to build a South Florida market for the Mystic Powerboats line, Angle of Attack Marine founder Chris Richards already owns an M4200 center console and a C4000 catamaran. His Miami Beach Marina dealership will debut a wild new M5200 center console at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this month. Richards, who is in the aviation services business, does nothing in half measures.

To that end, he knew when he started Angle of Attack Marine that becoming a certified Mercury Racing/Mercury Marine engine and accessories was essential to the success of the dealership, which also is the Miami-area distributor for the Fliteboard E-foil product line.
That piece of the puzzle clicked neatly into place last week.
“As Mystic’s South Florida dealership, becoming a certified Mercury Racing/Mercury Marine dealer has always been part of our overall plan,” Richards explained.
As they have at performance-boating events throughout the year, the entrepreneur and his team will be out in force during the Fort Lauderdale event. Not only will they be showcasing M5200 center console powered by quad 600-hp Mercury Marine V-12 outboard engines, they’ll be looking to find a home for the jaw-dropping new 52-footer.
“We are, after all, a Mystic dealer,” Richards said, then laughed.
