Owned and throttled by veteran offshore racer Bill Allen, the 32-foot Team Allen Lawncare and Landscaping catamaran is among the most consistent raceboats in the Super Stock ranks. Allen is known as one of the best rough-water throttlemen in the sport, and in 2022 he and then-driver Cody McDowell earned an American Power Boat Association Super Stock World Championship in Key West, Fla.
Driver Randy Keys went on to replace McDowell, and the Team Allen campaign continued on its strong path.
Now, there is another fork in the road for Allen and company and it comes in the form of new driver Sabrina Kowalik, who will share the cockpit with the seasoned competitor this year. Like Allen, Kowalik considers the Lake of the Ozarks in Central Missouri her home-water. Unlike her future teammate, she as no offshore racing experience.

But Kowalik is no stranger to speed on the water. During the 2025 Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, she piloted a 48 MTI catamaran owned by Scott Rosenbach and throttle Performance Boat Center’s Rusty Williams to 165 mph.
“Sabrina also has run the Shootout with me several times in the Team Allen raceboat,” Allen noted. “We’re going to start practicing as soon as the weather breaks.”
A low-key guy by nature, Allen isn’t about to make any predictions for the upcoming season. But he is eager to get started working with his new driver, who is one of two women—the other is driver Leanna Shadlow of the Demon Bikini team—in the Super Stock ranks this season.
“It’s a really tough class,” he said. “But you have to finish them to win them.”
