PBN Exclusive—Wozencraft World Tour Heading West This Season

If you hit a major East Coast, Southern or the Midwest go-fast boating event during the past 11 years, you probably met high-performance marine insurance and finance man Devin Wozencraft. More than a savvy and tireless marketer, Wozencraft is a social being by nature. He digs meeting people and learning about them. He loves renewing acquaintances Like all great conversationalists, he’s a remarkable listener who retains most of what he hears.

But while Wozencraft’s insurance and finance operation is headquartered in Southern California, his annual “Wozencraft World Tour”—with the exception of the Arizona-based Desert Storm Poker Run where he sponsors a card stop every year—he’s been absent from most organized West Coast boating event.

That’s changing this season. You won’t find Wozencraft at the Boyne Thunder Poker Run in Northern Michigan early July. Nor will you catch him at the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run the following weekend in Upstate New York. Though Wozencraft ran his well-known and hard-to-miss 34-foot Victory catamaran in a few Florida Powerboat Club happenings this winter and spring, he’s set his event-tour sights on West Coast happenings.

First up for Wozencraft is the Big Cat Poker Run, July 31-August 1, based in Discovery Bay, Calif. Next, he’ll head to Northern Arizona for the Lake Powell Challenge set for September 18–21. Later that month, he’ll head back to the Golden State for the Catalina Island Fun Run.

“We’re coming back to  support many boating events out west that we haven’t attended in many years due to traveling to events in the Midwest and East Coast,” he said. “I’m looking forward to revisiting all of them.

“We also are going to team up with Summer Richardson and Sexy Fast Swimwear to put on a Meet and-Greet event Lake Havasu during the July 4 weekend,” he added.

There is one exception to his plan for the 2026 Wozencraft World Tour, but it also has a “western” theme of sorts. He’ll be heading to the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Powerboat Week affair in early November.
