PBN Exclusive—Sunny Sundays Coming Back For Summer

Members of the Sunsation Nation—a devout tribe of Sunsation Boats owners across the country—were rightly disappointed to learn that the 2026 Sun Run won’t happen this year. The celebration of brand, which took over New Baltimore, Mich., for a Thursday street party and exhibit and was followed by a day-long fun on Lake St. Clair in early August, hit all the right notes for the past five years. Sunsation owners from around the country flocked to it.

A revival can’t come soon enough.

But all is not temporarily lost for Sunsation owners for a brand-specific experience. Performance Boat Center, the brand’s leading dealer, is bringing back its Sunny Sunday events to the Lake of the Ozarks this summer. The Osage Beach, Mo.-based dealership started its Sunny Sundays for Sunsation owners two years ago and announced their return yesterday on social media. The dates are June 7, July 12, August 16 and September 13.

This time around, Performance Boat Center has created four diverse Sunny Sunday experiences for would-be participants.

“We’re going to do things a little different things this year,” explained Cyler Jackson of the multi-brand dealership. “For the first one June, we are going to meet here at Performance Boat Center and then run to Bagnell Dam for a mini-parade. Riley Will, our video and social media guys, will be there to capture video and pics. Then we’ll go to the Neon Taco for lunch.”

For the July version, Sunsation owners will meet in Party Cove for a raft-up and lunch. In August, the group will depart Performance Boat Center and head for Coconuts At The Lake.

“The last one will be in September, and we’re planning a scavenger hunt format where participants have to gather different items from around the lake and then meet back at Performance Boat Center and the Redhead Lakeside Grill,” Jackson said.
