Saturday night is a tough one for folks in town for the annual Miami International Boat Show, which is set for February 10-14 next year. They’re burned out on the event, which doesn’t take long, and likely leaving the following day. But they’re still looking for a good way to end—or at least salvage—the experience. That the event overlaps Valentine’s Day, “amateur night” as we called it when I waited tables and dinosaurs roamed the earth, ensures restaurants and clubs will be mobbed.
Do I paint a bleak enough picture?
Though it’s five months away, the Angle of Attack Marine team is getting ready to party on Saturday, February 13, as part of its program during the 2027 Miami International Boat Show.
But there are two definitive bright spots to the Miami affair this year. First, Valentine’s Day happens Sunday, February 14. So the pressure, such as it is with Hallmark holidays, is off.
And Angle of Attack Marine is hosting a party the night before at its Doral facility.
Then a high-performance marine concierge and service company, Angle of Attack hosted its first Saturday night soiree during the 2025 Miami show. By all accounts from the likes of Kruis Retherford and Ashley Strong of GSX/Glasstream Boats, high-performance marine-insurance man Devin Wozencraft, Andrew Imhof of Maryland Offshore and DWR, Aaron Treppa of Sunsation Boats, and O.G. Angle of Attack clients Joe Greulich and Jimmy Blackburn, the evening was over the top.
But now Angle of Attack principal Chris Richards, Christian Marquez and the rest of the AOA team have something else to celebrate. Last month, the rapidly expanding business became a Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats dealer.
Though they’re still working out the details, the Angle of Attack crew is on a mission to provide an even better experience than they did last time around. And they’re encouraging not just members of the Nor-Tech tribe and their own clients to come play, they’re encouraging everyone to join in the fun.
