Nor-Tech Going Back To Back Again With Customer-Appreciation Celebrations

Running down the current roster of center consoles, catamarans and V-bottom sportboats registered for the November 3-9 Florida Powerboat Club’s Key West Powerboat Week, two numbers stand out. At the moment, 196 boats are registered.

By any measure, that’s a lot of stellar hardware.

And 41 of those boats—the most of any brand—are of the Nor-Tech kind.

That kind of turnout isn’t unusual customer-representation for the Cape Coral, Fla-based high-performance center-console and catamaran builder. Nor-Tech often leads the brand-census at Florida Powerboat Club affairs.

But it does explain the company’s annual Key West Customer Family Appreciation, which returns Friday, November 6, at the Grand Café on Duval Street, and will celebrate its ninth anniversary this year. Starting a 6 p.m. the celebration includes complimentary adult beverages and light bites and is open to all Nor-Tech clients and vendors.

Nor-Tech owners-group members Trond Schou and Bill Raisbeck, as will other key members of company leadership including chief operating officer Henrik Margård—who recently joined the board of Fort Myers Offshore—and Nor-Tech designer/co-founder Nils Johnsen as well as dealers from around the country will be there to host the celebration.

As usual, Nor-Tech team-members will arrive in a celebratory mood, and not just because they enjoy a good party with their clients. The company also has its annual Customer Appreciation Party happening the week prior, Wednesday, October 28, to be exact at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Of course—shameless plug alert—Nor-Tech owners in town (all powerboat owners in town for that matter) will want to kick off the early November party week on Thursday evening, November 5, at the 13th annual Speed On The Water Key West Bash benefitting Samuel’s House. Hosted once again by the Pickle’s Pub Sandbar on Greene Street, the fun starts at 7 p.m.
