With the first round of action from the Race World Offshore Key West World Championships completed, offshore racing fans in the city at the end of the Florida road have a day minus racing ahead of them. Fortunately, there are endless distractions in Key West including tonight’s 13th annual Speed On The Water Key West Bash benefitting Samuel’s House. The fun starts the Pickle’s Pub Sandbar venue—511 Greene Street—at 7 p.m.

And thanks to party sponsors DWR, Good Boy Vodka, racer Rob Lockyer, Platinum Powerboats and Wozencraft Insurance the closed-to-vehicle-traffic block will be properly dressed.

As they have all season, veteran play-by-play man Todd Swofford will call the action and speedonthewater.com offshore racing editor Eric Colby will handle the color commentary.
