With a pair of new 41-foot, outboard-engine-powered catamarans to debut and two new dealers—CMC Marine and Wally Castro Marine covering different territories—just announced, American Marine Performance is heading into the 38th annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout with significant momentum. The Pompano Beach, Fla., based company will showcase the cats, as well as its 35-foot sibling and 43-, 34- and 33-foot center consoles, during the August 25-30 Central Missouri event.

On the new-dealer side of the AMP equation, CMC Marine—the product of a partnership between marine industry veterans Scot Conrad of SLT Collection and Wally Castro of Wally Castro Marine— will represent the brand on east coast of Florida and the Florida Keys.
Wally Castro Marine will represent AMP in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
“Expanding our dealer network with the right partners is an important part of AMP’s continued growth,” Arthur Fusco, the president of American Marine Performance, said in a press release from the company. “Scot Conrad and Wally Castro bring tremendous experience, relationships, and knowledge of the performance boating market.

As previously reported, the company has a robust schedule during Shootout week. Here’s another look:
• Tuesday, August 25—AMP Fun/Lunch Run, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. All About Boats Open House, 7:30 pm.-9 p.m.
• Wednesday, August 26—AMP Exhibit at the Shootout On The Strip Street Party and Exhibit
• Thursday, August 27—All About Boats Demo Days at Dog Days Bar and Grill.
• Friday, August 28—Lake of the Ozarks Poker Run. • Saturday, August 29—AMP-Life Run, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Neon Taco AMP Party, 3 p.m.-6 pm.
