Nor-Tech Reaffirms Commitment To Fort Myers Offshore And More

The Fort Myers Offshore 2025/2026 season-opener at the Marco Island Yacht Club is just one weekend away. And with the pending start of Southwest Florida-based nonprofit scholarship fundraising organization’s string of events from October through April, longtime supporter Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boat will continue the club’s efforts through donations to the scholarship effort and more.

That means Fort Myers Offshore will receive $5,000 from the Cape Coral, Fla.-based company during the 2025/2026 season.

“Having the Fort Myers Offshore events back up and running for the season is always exciting for the team at Nor-Tech,” said Trond Schou, the co-founder and president of the high-performance center-console and catamaran outfit. “We enjoyed a close relationship with the Fort Myers Offshore group for years . Their cause is admirable one it aligns with our own philanthropic mission, which is part of Nor-Tech’s cultural fabric.”

Schou described this month as “the official start of busy season” for the company. Nor-Tech will have strong customer support at the upcoming Marco Island affair, as it will in the Florida Powerboat Club Key West Powerboat Week early next month. Those events bookend the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, where the company will have a six-boat exhibit.

“It will be delightful to see members of the Nor-Tech family out in full force at the Fort Myers Offshore and Florida Powerboat Club events this season, and we can’t wait to catch up with everyone after the summer hiatus. We’re entering our busy time, but we still support as many deserving causes events as we can.”
