With more than 100 boats currently registered and on-line sign-ups closed for the Kuttawa Cannonball Run, the 10th annual event in Old Kuttawa, Ky., is shaping up to be a don-t miss affair. And would-be participants for the May 29-30 happening still have a chance to join the celebration through walk-up registration on both mornings.

But organizers Jeff Hoefling and Terry Martin are changing up the evening schedule. The traditional live charity auction will happen Friday night—rather than Saturday night—following the planned lunch run on Lake Barkley, which is a tune-up for the Saturday run on Kentucky Lake.
On Saturday evening, the organizers are bringing in Nashville-based band to perform at Hub-B’s Kuttawa Harbor Marina restaurant , the event’s longtime host-venue.
“The band will be doing ’80s Tribute Show,” Martin said.
Added Hoefling, “We’ll be doing a card turn in concert on Saturday night.”
Wanting to save a surprise or two, the tight-lipped duo declined to offer additional details.
