Powerboat Nation—Looking Back And Looking Forward

As you couldn’t help but notice, Powerboatnation.com revitalized its content platform in 2025. Starting in January, the website published at least one new story each day—five days a week—for the entire year. The result was deep collection of strong articles that revitalized the online content site.

That’s translated to more than 200 online stories tackling a variety of high-performance powerboating topics . Subjects have ranged from new boats and technology to pleasure-boating coverage, from offshore racing features to personality profiles.

From serious to lighthearted, Powerboat Nation content offerings this year has been robust.

The content resurgence began with a partnership between Powerboat Nation and speedonthewater.com when the leaders of both entities met in late 2024. The two media online portals are the last bastions of original daily content in the go-fast boating world. They share a common goa.

To keep powerboat fans informed.

Though Powerboat Nation and speedonthewater.com remain separate entities, each brings a different flavor to its steady flow of content. But they are stronger together. That much we knew from our earliest discussions.

So we formed a partnership. And from my biased perspective as the lead content producer it’s been a winner. Stories that geminate on speedonthewater.com often grow into something entirely different on Powerboatnation.com. They speak with their own distinct voices while exploring many of the same topics from different angles.

Feeding the social media chaos is a necessary marketing effort/evil we make. But it is not our destination, much less our core content business. Nor is regurgitating press releases and calling them news. Our business, at least on the editorial side, is producing original content that keeps you enlightened and entertained.

Both portals are stronger for the partnership. And it will only grow stronger in 2026.

We have a lot more planned for the New Year. We’ve already demonstrated our ability to execute a plan. In 2026, we plan to execute a whole lot more. You can count on it.

As the saying goes, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Happy New Year.
