Capped at 130 entries this year, the Rock The River Cincinnati Fun Run sold out in record time this year. The seventh annual happening on the Ohio River is amongst the hottest go-fast boating events in the country—and for good reason. From the welcoming atmosphere created by its organizers to its Friday night street party, everything about it is cool.

According to Pat Feldhaus, who organizes the Rock The River affair with his brother, Matt, and their friend Michael Caliguri, the registered powerboats of the catamaran kind will be abundant. Some 30-plus cats are signed up for the event.
Two of those Skater cats are the property of Ohio’s Justin and Johnna Beischel. They’re bring their 36-footer and new 28-footer, both of which were in the fleet at the Boyne Thunder Poker Run this month.
“We have 10 Skaters, three MTI 48s and more signed up,” he said. “And between cats and center consoles, our street party will have eight new builds from Concept, Formula, Nor-Tech, Performance Powerboats, Skater, Statement and Sunsation.
“Pretty impressive for a powerboat event on the Ohio River,” he added.
