A Tip Of The Hat To Outgoing Sunsation Man Ryan Wenk

As the national sales and marketing manager of Sunsation Boats, Ryan Wenk became the public face of the Algonac, Mich., high-performance center-console company at events around the country. Often accompanied Sunsation teammate Aaron Treppa, Wenk represented the brand—and spread the Sunsation love—with passion and integrity.

Today is Wenk’s last day with the company, which set sales records and thrived during his tenure. Without question, the 34-year-old is leaving Sunsation—of his own according for personal reasons—better than he found it when he started there five years ago.

“In a short time, I met so many great people and learned so much. Inside and outside of the factory,” he explained. “Sunsation Nation is a community larger than any one person, and I am thankful for the opportunity to help bring it this far. And I’m excited to watch from the sideline as they enter their next phase of growth.”

Wenk has no immediate work plans. He’ll enjoy the holidays with his wife, Madolin, and their family and friends start plotting the next move of his professional course early in the new year.

He’s in no hurry.

“For once in 15 years, I’m excited to not have a plan,” he said. “I’m going to reprioritize the parts of my life I left behind for career, and hopefully find a new balance that makes me happy before tackling another opportunity.

“For now, the only boss I need is my wife,” he added, then laughed.
