BBLADES Offers Bravo Drive Spacers and Exclusive Test Program

“Dial–in” drive height affordably with the marine industry’s ONLY spacer demo deal!

Performance boaters with Bravo or Bravo SportMaster drives can now dial-in their boats’ optimum performance, affordably, with BBLADES Professional Propellers’ new Bravo Drive Spacers Plates and Bravo Sport Master Drive Spacer Plate Test Program. Spacer plates allow boaters to change the depth of the propeller in the water-often called the “X” dimension. Lowering the “X” dimension can improve a boats attitude and handling while raising it will generally increase speed. Spacer plates lower a gearcase without having to change the drive height on the boat, improving overall performance, decreasing prop slip percentage, reducing “time-to-plane,” and increasing bow lift.

BBLADES now carries a line of spacer plates for Bravo and Bravo SportMaster drives offered in 1-, 1.5-, and 2- inch varieties that can be tested for 15-days at a cost of $100 per plate. A deposit of $500 is required, but both the deposit and test fee are applied to the purchase price if the spacer plate delivers the desired results. If further testing is required, test plates can be traded for an additional test fee until the correct depth is determined. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs in both directions, a modest late fee if the test period time is exceeded, and for any damage to the plates. In addition, Bravo Drive and Bravo Sport Master Drive Spacer Plates are available for purchase in 1-, 1.5-, 2-, 2.5- and 3- inch varieties.

The new program is an extension of a BBLADES’ test program for its own brand of #6 Drive Spacer Plates for SSM VI-Drives. BBLADES is the only manufacturer of #6-Drive Spacer Plates available in quarter-inch increments from ¼-inch to 3-inches available for testing under the similar terms. All other manufacturers make spacer plates in half-inch increments. BBLADES also offers riggers a complete line of #6-Driver Stud Spacers.

At one time, racers and serious performance boaters could go to a manufacturer’s test facilities and experiment with drive heights until they discovered what worked best. “With testing facilities like Lake X closed, riggers are left without options,” says BBLADES co-founder Brett Anderson. “Our spacer plate test programs provide some flexibility for dialing in a boat and will save them some money as well.”

BBLADES also offers serious boaters a chance to “try before you buy” with its Propeller Test Program and its exclusive #6 Offshore Cleaver Test Program.

Interested boaters can learn more about the various test programs, receive free consultations services, and reserve test dates by contacting BBLADES at 920-295-4435. Information about all of BBLADES’ products and services is available on-line at Boat Propellers – Lab Finishing, Mercury, Hering Propellers and More!, where most BBLADES products may be purchased direct.
