PRI Show Delivers The Goods

While a string of hyped-up International Hot Rod Association announcements created buzz at the Performance Racing Industry event—PRI in common gearhead parlance—last Thursday through Saturday, the products inside were as always the real show. From the latest MoTeC technology that boosts 500-hp supercharged outboard engines to 750 hp to the endless array of aftermarket hardware the CP Performance and Hardin Marine on display and more, PRI delivered the goods craved by true high-performance enthusiasts.

“The PRI show has been great, most definitely,” said Bill Pyburn, Jr., the throttleman for Super Cat-class Dirty Money Racing team, who also has owned some of most exotic go-fast powerboats ever built.

PRI continues to be the event for automobile and powerboat fans who want to explore the very latest in high-performance technology, from engines mods to electronic upgrades, a roving Powerboat Nation reporter covering the event explained.

BoostPower Engines brought some serious hardware to the PRI affair.

“The Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show is the ultimate showcase for high-performance power,” he said. “But while it is heavily rooted in the automotive world, there is still a strong presence of crossover technology that applies directly to the marine performance industry. Throughout the show, attendees can find Hardin Marine products on display through select vendors, highlighting how proven marine hardware continues to earn its place alongside top-tier racing components.

“Companies such as BoostPower Engines showcase products that trusted by both marine builders and professional race teams” he continued., “The connection between automotive racing innovation and on-water performance. These are the same championship-proven components that help push limits in some of the most demanding environments—on track and on the water.”
