Italian Artist Christo is funding a $15 million art project on one of Italy’s least known big lakes, Lake Iseo. The project consists of 220,000 floating poly-ethylene cubes that form a walkway inches above the water, connecting a series of islands to the mainland. The exhibit is free and is expected to host over half a million visitors that will make the trek across the water to the other islands.
