Barrett Custom Marine Builds 2 New Header Chairs for Powell Event

Adrian Barrett of Lake Havasu City, AZ-based service center Barrett Custom Marine has built two more of its amazing “header chairs,” which will be donated to the Lake Powell Challenge to benefit the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) for auction.

The header chair Barrett donated last year was such a roaring success that they had to build another one—immediately after the event—for a separate bidder, totaling $44,000 for both chairs.

“I’d like to thank Morgan Motorsports, Main Stitch Upholstery and Unique Upholstery, who helped make this project come together,” Barrett says.

Look for these masterpieces to be the most “chair-ished” items at this year’s Lake Powell Challenge, organized by Antelope Point Marina.

Dave Magoo of Camarillo, CA, owner of the DCB M35 Bananas, gets comfortable in last year’s header chair.
